Airport workers Adem Jasharı have decided to go on strike on August 19, 20, and 21st.
The union of Airport Adem Jasharı, through a media report, says that after many attempts to dialogue with the management about their demands, the latter have shown no readiness for dialogue.
We announce that after many efforts and requests directed at the airport management to dialogue and resolve our issues peacefully, so far we have not accepted any invitation or readiness from the management to dialogue. We have exhausted all the peaceful ways and possibilities for dialogue. Workers are determined in their demands for what they have decided through their delegates to go on strike, as we have warned in the peaceful protest held last week on the 08.08.2019 date that by 19.08.2019, we will strike an hour from 08.00h to 09.00h local time, and on the 2008.2019 strike two hours from 0800h until 10: 00 p.m. and on the 21st day of the entire 1120x>, the announcement says.
The announcement stresses that all service workers that are not of vital importance will participate in the strike.
