Kosovo's justice organs have freed Milos Petkov from Krusha e Rahovec, accused of war crimes against the civilian population in that village, reports T V Mir in Serbian.
Milos Petkov was arrested in Hungary on September 6th last year under a warrant issued by EULEX.
By May 17th, Petkov had remained in custody in Hungary when it was handed over to Kosovo's justice organs. This was the first instance of extradition after Kosovo received war crimes processes from EULEX.
According to TV Mir, Petkovic's defender, lawyer Lubomir Todorovic, has said his client had been arrested on the basis of a false claim and that in court it proved he was not guilty of crimes committed in Krusha Minor.
Todorovic has indicated that Petkoviqi had been held in Special Prison in Podujevo (it's Gerdovci v.j's High Security Prison) since he surrendered to Kosovo's justice organs at Pristina Airport.
The massacre in Krusha Minor occurred in 26 mrs in 1999 when 113 persons, including some children, were adopted. Residents of this village had accused their Serbian fellow citizens of participating in the mask, recalling TV Mir./Time/
