The ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Belgrade, Tanju Bilgic, had met Marko Djurich, who holds the manager's position in the so-called “Office for Kosovo and Metohija” in Serbia's Government, reports news365.
In the announcement published in the Turkish Embassy's Belgrade profile, “Ambassador Tanju Bilgic has met with Office for CHA Director Marko Djuric and have discussed current topics”.
The reference to the term “Cosovo of Metohija” had sparked harsh reactions of citizens who have commented on the Embassy's page on social networks.
On this issue, there is still no official response from Kosovo institutions.
