Thethia ʹ a popular destination every season of the year

Few may be the Albanians, who have not heard of the Namura Bjeshks. Natural beauty in Theth Park is among the rarest you can see in our country. The peaks of the Alps glistening with sunshine, dense pine forests, different flowers, and the river Theth, [...]
The peaks of the Alps, dense pine forests, different flowers, and the river Theth, make the small village of the same name - a real center of natural wealth, not alone.
Theth is one of the most popular mountain resorts in Albania. Between the Namura Bees and parts of the Peace Park, natural landscapes but also the hospitality of people in this country attract thousands of local and foreign tourists.
First tourists in Theth come from the early hours of the morning. Organised groups head towards the Balkan Maya path. Among them are the two Swiss Sibly and Fritz.
“We found Albania through a magazine. We've been in Theth for four days. We love the simplicity of this country and will now follow the road to the top of the Balkans, the path to Valbona. People are very kind”, Sibly says.
But there are also those who have returned to Theth. Hungarians Adam and Laslu, driven by motorcycles, say they'll be back.
We have travelled between Serbia, Montenegro and are already here, to this magnificent country. It's the second time I've visited Albania, and hospitality is fantastic. Nobody knows how wonderful Albanian hospitality is, but I've told everyone it's the best in Europe. I'll be back by myself, with my friends this time”, they confess.
And in Theth, traditional homes are quickly shrinking, as the hotels are taking their place, there are also residents who try to preserve the history of their ancestors.
This is my father's house and it was built 168 years ago. I've been trying to preserve the structure of the house before”, says Mark Zef Kacheku, resident of Theth.
Theth, however, has more than the beauty of nature. The Ethnographic Museum of Dukagjin, built in a typical village house, is one of the objects that must be visited.
This is where the bread was cooked, the fire was lit and people were staying. The first of the house usually stood by the fire”, says Jeff White, an entography researcher.
Visitors are not missing even at the only church in Theth, one of the best - known points in the small mountainous village.
This church is one of Theth's oldest buildings. It has endured 300 years, while operating not only as a church but also as a school and maternity ward.
He's been burned twice by the fire and built again by the Thethians. The third time Communism burned him, he says, Gjergj Harusha, keeper of the church.
In front of the church lies the Ngjim Tower, which is one of the few that has been preserved for hundreds of years.
This tower has been built for four centuries. It's been working on how to reconcile things. There's been a century that doesn't work because there's no longer a Leka Dukagjini canon, Says Socol Kocek, heir to the Njim Tower.
But even though it bears the name Ngium Tower, we really have this building served to reconcile the blood.
It's called that because we didn't know things would agree. This tower has been like a court, not all of whom are allowed, nor is it punished for the entire<x1...
From Thethia, you cannot leave without even listening to the first sound of music at a time when the instruments did not exist. But as a musical instrument, a leaf was used.
