In France five deaths may be related to heat; Wednesday, Paris saw the highest temperature since 1947 to 40.4 degrees Celsius.
New records are also noted in the Netherlands, at red alert is Luxembourg, where temperatures are expected to reach 42 degrees, while a scorching heat is also in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Poland and Germany.
