To understand what really happened last night, Periscop contacted the Kosovo Police.
In response to Periscop, police have indicated that police officials had accepted complaints from citizens of noise at locals operating on “Rexep Luci”.
According to the Police version, Citizen Gashi had ignored police officials and had begun shouting aloud.
“By July 18th 2019 on the “Rexhep Luci” street, following citizens' complaints, police officials have responded to calls and identified all the locals and spaces that conflict with the law, since the same have not implemented the pre-priced time limit with the 03-L-124 Law. On the aforementioned date, police officials have encountered a group of people among whom, as a sign of revolt, a member of the female gender, in addition to ignoring the orders of police officials, has shouted loudly and disobeyed police officials. Article 8 ʹPublic Unions' noise-related violations
- Anyone who causes unnecessary and unbearable noise to be heard around or on the street and who disturbs others from 22: 00 p.m. to 7: 00 p.m. during the week and from 11: 00 p.m. to 7: 00 p.m. on Saturdays and on Sundays is sentenced to persecution.
- If the violations from paragraphs 1 of this article are committed by the physical person, he /it is fined 30 (30) to five hundred (500) Euro.
- If the initial offenses in paragraph 1 of this article are committed by the owner or person responsible for a legal subject, he/he is fined by a hundred-five-five-five-four-seven (700) Euro”, police report.
They have made it known that in the first two weeks of July, 65 calls from the citizens of this area for corruption of order and calm have been accepted.
