As Koha Ditore finds out, cops named S. and N., have been under investigation for this abuse.
Investigations into these two police officials have been launched by the police themselves, after examining the recordings, a source told Kohas Ditore.
23 people were arrested earlier this month, of them 16 officials at the Ministry of Infrastructure, under suspicion of misuse of official office and bribery.
The detainees allegedly allowed interested persons to be equipped with driver's license without entering the test, accepting bribes of 400 to 1,000 euros.
Two police officials were interviewed yesterday in the quality of suspects for two criminal acts “Using official position or authority” and “Using official information”. Kosovo's Police Inspectorate after an announcement has suggested that by the decision of the competent prosecutor these police officials have been arrested and that the detention measure has been imposed for 48 hours.
