In 1990, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the current head of government had much in common. Both partners, both in the Democratic Party and both professors.

This is a photograph taken 29 years ago, on December 22nd 1990, when Rama and Berisha were not two “unambiguous enemies<x1) political. They include the late Ardian Klosi, friend of Rama.

The photo was taken in Student City, the first myth of the Democratic Party. At the time, Edi Rama was a professor at the Supreme Institute of Arts, as was Berisha a professor at the Faculty of Medicine.

Edi Rama is one of the protagonists of December 90. He has actively participated in events that prepared the collapse of the communist system, but has been absent the very day the student movement for the collapse of communism began on December 8, 1990. / G S. AL
