Following the general director Becir Ismajli's departure from office on August 1st, Fatmir Hajoll, former minister's adviser to Pacolli's resignation, will take that position.
Hajoll says the decision on his appointment to this position, Minister Behgjet Pacolli, has taken him earlier, not after Prime Minister Haradinaj's resignation, though he does not mention the date when the decision was made.
Hajoll suggests that prior to his appointment for director, the councillor had originally been hired as a civil servant at the academy.
He believes that there is proper preparation and aims at restoring and empowering the Academy, regardless of how modest staff is available.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet answered television questions about recent appointments to this dictatorship and decision-making time.
Last week, KTV reported on the appointment of former advisors and members of Pacolli's party on diplomatic missions in various parts of the world.
Otherwise, the last head of the Diplomatic Academy, Becir Ismajli, for which the newspaper “Koha Ditore” had reported being convicted of plagiarism in Egypt, has been sent to lead the diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia.
