A month of detention for three young men who were detained with narcotics and pistol without permission

This is due to the suspicion based on the carrying out of criminal acts “Blerja, possession, distribution and unauthorized sale of narcotics and psychotropic substances and analogue” by Article 267, paragraph 2 related to 31 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code, and “holding in ownership, controlling or unauthorized possession of weapons “from Article 366, paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code.

Under the prosecution's request handed over to court, there is suspicion that by July 20th 20th, 2019, the three suspects along with the other suspect, G.B. (which during police association has managed to escape and is on the run) have been stopped by police, where it turns out the suspects together and without authorisation have transported narcotics with the aim of selling and distributing.

The suspects, after stopping by police, knowing that they were transporting narcotic substance, have begun to throw a amount of narcotics out of the car with the intention of hiding and not detection by police, where after the ban, police have found an amount of general-weight narcotic substance 64.37 grams of marijuana, as well as a gun with a clip and a bullet, which has been owned without prior permission.

The Mitrovica Foundation Court's preliminary procedure judge, at the session held, has approved the Constitutional Prosecutor's request in Mitrovica, and has assigned three suspects, the detention measure of (1) months, already to suspect G.B. which is on the run at the request of the prosecutor has been issued arrest warrants.
