For this day, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has sent congratulations to French President Emmanuel Macron.
In the letter of congratulations, Vuciq has wanted the well-being of French citizens, and has stressed that he has the honour of welcoming Macroni tomorrow in Belgrade.
“After nearly two decades, a president of France visits Serbia, where we also mark the 180th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Your visit will confirm that Serbia and France are on track to achieve higher levels of political and economic co-operation. I am convinced that our European path is realistic and attainable”, wrote Vuciq, broadcast news.net.
On the other hand, he has said France can rely on Serbia as a reliable partner in preserving stability in the Western Balkans.
Likewise, Vuciq has thanked Macroni for contributing to resolving the Kosovo issue.
Allow me, in the function of France's reputation and influence in European and global politics, to stress the importance of supporting our regional peace and co-operation policy, as well as issues that you deal with of extraordinary interest which are vital to Serbia's progress, in particular Kosovo”, has declared.
Macron is expected to visit Serbia tomorrow, while during the week it is reported that the main theme of this meeting will be reaching a solution for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
