During his visit to Serbia, French President Emmanuel Macron also met with a group of students, including two Albanians. They identified the president with the problems young people face in the Balkans and with their projects to create a future in their homeland.
Rina Kadir is from Kosovo's Rahoveci, while Mikel Zito is from Vora. They were students, and they do projects for young people. They are now calmer after carrying out the mission in Belgrade. This is when the French president, Emmanuel Macron, speaks to students who are part of the Ryco Foundation, from all over the region. Rina and Mikeli here have represented Kosovo and Albania. A few hours later, they say they were happy to speak with the French president and his Serbian counterpart, Allexander Vucich. Rina says she has told Macron, but also Vuqic about the need young people need. As Kosovo Albanian, it has mattered to representation.
Mikel says as a joke, that a better life in the Balkans means being in the country and not asylum in France. But to get here, it's necessary to create conditions.
The presidents have pledged support for their projects as they see it as a means of reconciliation and co-operation as a way. Vucic himself promised I would add the budget for these positive ideas to the troubled Balkan region. / A BC News
