Until he was sentenced by Pristina municipality inspectors, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning say they will continue with fines for all who violate the legal framework and damage the environment at the country level, KTV reports.
But, in contrast to the capital, the problem in the issue of pronouncing mandate fines, according to Leutrim Sahiti, spokesman at MMPH, presents municipalities that do not have environmental inspectors.
Sahiti said that in the entire Republic of Kosovo, during the December 2018 period June 2019 alone, more than 1,000 mandate fines have been issued.
According to him, subjects of citizens who do not pay the fines they are pronounced go to the private owner for mandatory payment execution.
Citizens share different opinions about this issue, saying that the primary is awareness in other ways and that conservation of the environment should be initiated by each citizen separately.
The mandated fines, according to Ministry officials, serve for awareness of irresponsible citizens who throw garbage outside certain locations.
The warrant fine, mostly, has been pronounced in Pristina, Pec, Vushtrri, Prizren, and Ferizaj.
