Krasniqi says PDK ready for elections, even talks about possible coalitions

Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy leader Memli Krasniqi, once also chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group in a conversation with Gazeta Blic, has indicated the PDK's position on the elections.

He has said the position of the Democratic Party of Kosovo has already been very clearly expressed by President Veselin and that the Democratic Party of Kosovo, not only is it ready but also very interested in holding the elections as soon as possible.

“We believe that even the president will start consultations immediately, so that he will not waste time and the date of the elections will be determined as soon as possible” is expressed.

While, as for any possible coalition with other parties, Krasniqi has said it is an issue we will discuss over the next few days.

“In the PDK tradition we've always had smaller partners in the coalition, but it's not necessary, however, as the possibility we will consider over the next days”, Krasniqi said.
