Reports in Serbian media that France has changed its attitude towards Kosovo and that it will now be positioned alongside this state, in the country being seen as a Serbian state's next propaganda. The Serbian newspaper Blic has reported that France's president, Emmanuel Macron, will be positioned in Serbia's side as regards the conflict with the Republic of Kosovo. The Serbian daily considers the new Paris deployment.
According to Blic '%s', Macron's attitude towards Pristina has changed following the Kosovo Government's refusal to remove the 100% tax on Serbian products, as well as the fact that Albanians see the United States as the only ally.
But such a thing has been denied by the Government of Kosovo. While political analysts in the country consider it Serbia's next propaganda.
Donjeta Gashi, spokeswoman of the Government, has told the news that relations between our country and France are steadfast.
Government exposes Serbia: Kosovo relations -- France -- stand firm
Kosovo and France's “Relations stand firm and these are facts, on the basis of inter-institutional and non-declarative co-operation. In recent evidence, we also have the fact that for a short time Prime Minister Haradinaj has met with France's Minister of Internal Affairs in Paris and France's prime minister during the Paznan Summit”, Gashi has declared.
According to her, this partnership is long-term, and the country's government is committed to empowering these reports of mutual interest.
“In recent meetings Prime Minister Haradinaj has requested the French side's support for visa liberalisation, and what we have received from France in response is that this country will not prevent this process and also support Kosovo in the integration processes”, Gashi has concluded.
While political analyst Shkodran Ramadani has told the news.net that he does not believe the French president's visit to Serbia comes as a result of a major French twist, as he says, to break things up with Kosovo and fix Serbia.
It's not that serious. But having also had confrontations on the French side of Sam, Berlin, this is already known. The prime minister himself has accepted it in several interviews, this indicates that there is some tension between him and French President Emmanuel Macron, especially because of Prime Minister Haradinaj's refusal to suspend the fee. However, Macroni's visit to Serbia does not believe it comes as a result of a major French twist that upsets Kosovo and sets Serbia right. Whether there really is such a good relationship with Serbia and whether the reports between France and Kosovo are so exacerbated remains to be seen further”, Ramadani has said.
Ramadani does not believe Kosovo's relations with France could be broken.
The “Relations do not believe that it completely breaks up, but makes it worse, as countries like France, Germany, Great Britain, the US, are countries that have requirements and, as countries like Kosovo fail to respond positively, those that can normally increase more aggressive must face-to-face measures, Ramadani has said.
While, analyst Avni Mazrek has said this is an orderd and articulated propaganda by the Government of Serbia, as he says, in this case for their domestic consumption.
He has also said that influential states like France do not change their positions in relation to foreign policy, respectively, technical issues dealing with the resolution of secular problems unresolved.
The “is meaningless to believe that states -- first of all -- are France and other powerful countries of France's level -- that they can change their positions in relation to foreign policy, respectively, technical issues related to resolving the old-ever unresolved problems. France and other powerful countries, they take centuries to change their attitudes. Governments of respective states can also change, in this case of powerful countries, but their positions in foreign policy cannot change them. This is just another well-organised and articulated propaganda by the Government of Serbia in this case for their domestic consumption and eventually to influence the negotiation process that will follow weeks or months to come. This should not be believed, nor should states such as France, the US, Germany and Great Britain can change position”, Mazreku said.
Otherwise, French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Serbia within this month, where he will discuss Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
As far as the French-Serbia relations are concerned, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has declared that about 20 agreements with Macro will be signed.
