Hundreds of police and soldiers went to Sur Baher to secure the site where the collapse of several houses, in which 17 people reportedly live.
Palestinians have said that the move is Israel's attempt to seize the territory of the West Coast.
Israel's Supreme Court has refused complaints against the order to collapse, saying these houses were built in the area where construction is prohibited.
The surrounding West Coast was built after the Palestinian uprising of 2000. Israel says it is built to prevent Palestinian attackers, but Palestinians say the siege is Israel's tool to conquer this region.
Ruining these houses is also contrary to the fact that they are located on the West Coast that is under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.
According to reports, the Palestinian Authority had granted permission to build these houses about ten years ago, writes “BBC.
