Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has prepared the next publication “TM Transport and Telecommunications Statistics 2/2019”, with data on Air Transport, Hekurudhor, Rrugor, and Telecommunications for the second quarter (TM2 2019).
Through this publication, data has been presented as follows:
On Kosovo territory, we have a total of 333km of railway railways for transportation.
In the second quarter of 2019, the number of passengers who took the train as a travel tool is 30,000, compared to the same quarter last year (TM 2 2018), the number of passengers has been reduced to 19.3%.
Transport of train goods in the second quarter of 2019 is 153 thousand tonnes, compared to the same quarter of last year (TM 2 2018), we have an increase of 58.7%.
As for the number of flights in the second quarter of 2019, we had 2173 flights or 11.03% more than in the same quarter of last year (TM 2 2018).
The number of travelers who used the plane as a vehicle in this quarter is about 580, in relation to the same quarter of last year (TM 2 2018) we have an increase of 11.24%.
