Hoti: We don't become part of the technical government, we want free and democratic elections

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will not accept being part of any technical government, following Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation.

LDK parliamentary group chief Avdullah Hoti has told “The online economy” that this party has consistently called for holding new elections because the past government had lost legitimacy.

No, absolutely not. We have been looking for one year and as long as we have been looking because of the loss of the legitimacy of the frozen government, we have called for free and democratic elections so that citizens can give the mandate to a political party, give the mandate to people who must lead with Kosovo, there is no technical government, only for free elections”, Hoti has said.

Hoti has stressed that the government must carry out all tasks that are provided with the Constitutions and laws until the new government is elected.
