Heavy accident in Gjilan, losing a 19-year-old

On July 04th, 2019, around 11:00 p.m., Kosovo police in Gjilan have accepted information about a traffic accident that had occurred at the leaving of Uglar Village, the municipality of Gjilan.

Regional traffic units urgently responded to the case and went to the scene.

From the first investigation allegedly until the accident came when Opel Vektra-type Opel Vaktra, 06, is moving from Uglar Village to Gjilan to reach the village exit, allegedly failing to adjust the speed of moving the conditions of the road-turning to the right on the left circuit tape and confronting the Mercedez-type vet with KS license plates which was moving from the opposite direction.

In this case, there is an accident, where, in the wake of rowing injuries, Albanian citizens of Kosovo (born 2000), the Mercedez Vetura car, loses its life while, body injuries get the driver of Vachtra and two Mercedes car passengers, who are urgently transported to the regional hospital in Gjilan.

The State Prosecutor has been notified about the case, which orders that the victim's body is sent to IML-Pristina for Obducation.

The case remains under investigation.
