Haradinaj's resignation today has taken many by surprise. The reason given by him is that he is invited to be interviewed by the Special Court.
The reason for this decision is that I have been called to report for questioning by the Specialised Chambers in The Hague as suspect”, Haradinaj has declared.
In addition to the initial melodramic reactions, the resignation was also considered unnecessary. Is it necessary for a court interview to resign from the post of prime minister, the first question being put on. But that remains a matter of interpretation.
However, to understand the motives of this resignation, Haradinaj's original actions as prime minister should be seen in retrospect, especially his actions in relation to the international community.
Behind itself in two years, not competent Government, with each one meter more negative than the other, with the beginning of a decline in reputation for the paralyzing situation in which he introduced the country, the resignation seems to be the anchor Haradinaj hopes will save his political career.
Remember, Haradinaj will be remembered as Kosovo's first prime minister to depreciate the country's reports with the United States of America, Kosovo's biggest sponsor of state. But not just U.S.A. Thus, his leadership, on the international level Kosovo, brought him into total, political and economic isolation.
But not just the international plain. Eventually Haradinaj was also left alone by his partners, who had brought him to the prime minister's post. As long as we mention his inferior activities and his party, AAK, in the municipality of Malisheva, against their most loyal partner, NISMAs.
We are saving up here to sort out all the other harmful projects and scandals that over two years conveyed the Haradinaj Government.
Thus, Haradinaj, overwhelmed by the dexterity of power, kicked everything close to him without thinking twice. He ignored and did not speak of anyone who built partnerships, international or local ones.
Now when he has broken everything, caught up in the trap of his unwise actions, Haradinaj hopes that the country's quick entry into elections can bring it back once again as an important political factor.
In the first statements to the media after the resignation, what stands out is Haradinaj's emphasis on the need for the president to announce the elections. He repeated it several times. And he indirectly confirmed that he would again be offered to rule the land.
What is the aim, and what can Haradinaj's expectations be following his resignation?
Haradinaj hopes political reconstruction is in his favour. Hopes on the patriotic effect of tax on Serbian goods, hopes we a weakened PDK, hopes in a divided LDK, in a VV still injured from sharing with PSDA and in an uncertain NISMA, but even in the tens of thousands of veterans who have increased during its rule.
He will try to capitalise on his two-year stubbornness as the virtue of the homeland, but that in his fight against everyone was left alone. It was going to devour the whole thing with which he built partnerships until today.
With such calculations, going to the elections is certainly considered necessary and imidia.
Therefore, Haradinaj's resignation, not a tear in his eye, should not be viewed as emotional resignations, nor the remorse of various politicians who often make it when they are engaged in falgamism and acts that run contrary to public ethics.
It's a resignation and an insincere tear. It is a well calculated resignation of Ramush Haradinaj.
With consequences behind him for two years, Haradinaj will find it difficult to find a partner for the future, much less support from international friends. Perhaps today we witnessed the conclusion of Haradinaj's meal.
But politics always surprises you. Especially in Kosovo. /Periscope.
