According to the indictment of May 31st this year, Haliti is accused of committing criminal work “assault”, while Dresses for criminal work “characterisation”.
It has been declared Xhavit Halit's attorney, Remember Kurvelesh.
According to him, his client cannot be charged with criminal offence.

The “Declarations of Cameron Kerveshi, my lawyer, in connection with the establishment of the indictment against me by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, for “paralleling” with MP Arben Gashi. I inform you that I have accepted the prosecution act of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina. I consider that in concrete cases, there is no criminal offense. Even if there was a criminal offense for my defense, I consider that the State Prosecutor has intervened in the recognized legal institutions, even though it would have to be considering limiting its authority to functional immunity as it comes to a situation during which MPs from the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo have been exercising official task”, Haliti writes on Facebook. /Periscopi
