Greece will not block northern Macedonia and Albania's EU accession ambitions, but will expect some concessions.

According to the paper, the European Commission has recommended setting dates for starting negotiations on the two countries' EU membership and that the EU Council will finally decide on the issue.
Sources from the Greek prime minister's office, Kirikos Mitsotakis, told '%Kathmerini's that Greece will not say “jo” to anyone, but will set its own conditions.
Analysts estimate that such a position means Athens will require strict respect for the Prespa Agreement from Skopje.
When it comes to Albania, analysts estimate Athens will insist on greater respect for the rights of members of the Greek minority, in line with international agreements and regulations.
