Official sources within the government of Germany have told the newspaper “Voice” that the Federal Republic of Germany appreciates the efforts Kosovo has made to meet the criteria for abolishing visas. Therefore, according to them, the European Commission's proposal (KE) for visa removal for Kosovo must now be approved in the Council of Ministers, which is the main EU decision-making body.
