Turkey's President Recep Tayip Erdogan, on the eve of today's two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Turkey has no luxury to observe many events in the Balkans.

Erdogan said at Istanbul airport today that Balkan peace and stability are very important for his country.

“The peace, stability and prosperity of the Balkans are very important to us. Our country has no luxury to observe events in this remote area, “said Erdogan.

Erdogan arrives today on a two-day visit to BiH, attended by the Bosnia and Herzegovina-led Summit of the Co-operation Process in Southeast Europe (SEECP).

Erdogan is also expected to meet with the delegation of the Turkish military mission, which is part of EUFOR in BiH on the first day of his stay in Sarajevo.
