Despite laudable social media messages, no one from office and opposition marched with members of police before Zymber police Lapidari.
But for Police Director General Rashit Qalaj, the most important remains the memory of Enver Zymber, who, according to him, serves as a reflection of better jobs and services to the people.
Homazhe for Enver Zymber, the Police Directorate also took place in the village of Dubovc, Vushtrri, at the Zymber family.
Qalaj, in addition to comforting words for the family, also said that the work of the hero Zymber does not and should not be forgotten.
Father Muharrem and son Sokoli now 17, say that the work of their son and father makes them proud and that they are proud not only of them but of the whole country.
Also present in the Homazhe at the Zymber family was Vushtrri chairman Jafer Tahiri. He said Enver Zymber lost his life by defending Kosovo's territorial integrity and its sovereignty.
Besides pride in the work of Zyber and other members of the police, Halili said institutions should do more for the safety of the latter.
Enver Zymber was killed in 2011 during a customs control mission in northern Mitrovica. He, along with other members of the ROSU unit, was ambushed by several Serbs in Brnjak.
