Zymber was a police officer of the Kosovo Police Forces Special Unit since 2002.

He was killed on 26 July 2011 in Leposaviq, near the border point between Kosovo and Serbia.

Enver Zymber was shot during the action to extend control of Kosovo in the northern part of the country.

Kosovo police have seen some activities today to honour the fallen police in the action that began on July 25th 2011.

During the day, there will be homazhe at his Lapidari in Pristina, as well as at the cemetery in the village of Dubovc in Vushtrri.

The police will then visit his family in Vushtrri.

Enver Zymber has been declared the hero of Kosovo at the order of former Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga.
