Engel during his stay in the Serbian capital has also met with the director of the Humanitarian Law Fund, Natasa Ka persecuted, with which he has discussed the victims of the Kosovo war, demanding the dawning of their fate and establishing justice.

The meeting's announcement has been issued by the US Embassy in Belgrade, where it states Engel and Persecuted have discussed the lack of progress in establishing justice for victims of the Kosovo war.

“Enge at a meeting with H manager LC, Natasa Kandic. They have stressed the lack of progress in seeking justice for war crimes victims. Justice would not only close this painful topic for the families of the victims, but also set the foundations for reconciliation” reported in the embassy's announcement, Express newspaper reports.

Engel has also met with Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq, with whom they discussed Kosovo- Serbia and the murder of the Bytyqi brothers.

“Enge is one of Kosovo's most prominent independence lawyers. We talked about how important it is to continue negotiations and dialogue and that this is important for good Serbian-Albanian relations and stability in the region. I hope that his messages in Pristina will contribute to accelerating the creation of conditions for continuing dialogue”, Vuciq said after the meeting.
