He explained that this was also seen during the recent meeting in Berlin, and said France's President Emmanuel Macro's visit to Serbia is a good message for Pristina, given that he will not go there, but only to Belgrade, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
I see how Haradinaj respects France's role. They no longer know where to hit”, Daciq told TV Prva and explained how Haradinaj was brought to the Berlin meeting, as he said, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and France's president, Emmanuel Macron.
They said at one point: Repower taxes and we can ensure that visas are removed, after which Haradinaj said “who will guarantee us this””, Dacic said, adding that “Hardinaj showed that Macron and Merkel for Pristina are not guarantees”.
Daçic said Haradinaj will not behave in such a way that he “does not have any support behind him” and added that the question is who wants to make progress in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
“Let us first start negotiating again and Pristina is not encouraged in this way, consistently committing certain unilateral acts”, Dacic said.
Waiting at the French Embassy in Pristina, on the occasion of Bastilla's Fall Day, Kosovo Prime Minister Haradinaj said France's role in reaching an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina is increasing and urged Macro to engage even more in resolving this issue.
“I use this opportunity to thank you for this and I urge the French president to engage more in addressing this issue. What is needed now is to find a framework for mutual recognition of the existing borders between Kosovo and Serbia, which is essential for further dialogue”, Haradinaj said.
