US Congress Speaker Confirms Wessel's Support for Kosovo in All Processes

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini, during his visit to the US, has had a special meeting with American Congress Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

At this friendly meeting, US House Speaker Wessel has confirmed his staunch American support for Kosovo. She vowed that she would always be in favour of Kosovo and stressed that Kosovo can count on its help and the American Congress. “America will be alongside Kosovo and will always support you”, Mrs. Pelosi told Prime Minister Wessel.

For his part, the head of the Kosovo Assembly has thanked the president of the American Congress for supporting the parliament she, the American Congress and the US have given to Kosovo historically. Chief Parliamentary Veselini has demanded from the president of the US Congress that the US have even greater and more direct evolution in the processes Kosovo is undergoing. During this meeting, Wessel has also asked Mrs. Pelosi to support the US Congress and institutions for the Kosovo Army, as well as for the initiative to condemn Serbian genocide and crimes and violations during the war in Kosovo. Prime Minister Wessel has invited Mrs. Pelosi to visit Kosovo soon.

Of the 18 parliamentary delegations that were participating in the Forum of Leaders being held at the American Congress, Kosovo Mayor Kadri Wessel was the only leader from Europe to be hosted at a special meeting by Congress Speaker Nancy Pelos.
