Citaku has written that he cannot help but recall Netanyya's messages in the most difficult moments for the Kosovo people.
As I head the visiting American Jewish Committee in Israel, as the first diplomat from #Kosovo, as special guest of the Project, I cannot help but recall Israel's powerful supporting messages for Kosovo that came in its darkest moments, Citaku wrote.
In a 1999 speech, Netanyahu had said that more than anyone else, the Jewish people associated with what was happening to Kosovo.
Nothing is comparable, nor can it compare with the Holocaust of our people. But as Jews, we cannot stand back when confronted with images of Kosovo, with thousands of refugees expelled from their homes, with scary faces looking from railroad trains and children who lost their parents. As Jews, these images of which affected more than any other people and as Jews we have a special responsibility to remember, understand, and act was his speech./ P ERISCOPI/
