Reactions are still continuing over September of the symbol of national resistance, Adem Demac.
architect Arian Bytyci has said this September should be located in a more meaningful location in a symbolic and architectural-urbanity way -- space that would encourage communication and interaction among people.
According to him, September could be located in space near the National Library of Kosovo, or even in the opening space of Mother Teresa Boulevard, near the university campus -- space expected to be transformed into pedestrian boulevard, according to the urban regulatory plan in force.
“To realise this goal, responsible institutions must announce international architecture contests for the design of public space that is scheduled for the September deployment of Adem Demac and, in addition, to announce an international competition for the September idea. Any other decision-making, in the way it has been done so far by the responsible institutions, is the classic Balkan autoproisation”, he has said.
