Apollo 11 that went to Monday 50 years ago may have infected the moon with lunar bacteria

A mistake made during the moon landing of Apollo 11 may have brought lunar bacteria to the ground, astronauts discovered.

When the three astronauts of the crew had flown to the moon and returned, exactly 50 years ago, NASA had worked hard to ensure that no bacteria would come to earth from the lunar surface.

All three had received special clothing, writes Independent, translate Periscope.

But interviews from the new documentary show that the plan to keep the soil clean may have easily failed and that space viruses may have landed on earth's atmosphere despite NASA's best efforts.
