In a statement, the US-backed Libyan government accused the so-called Libyan National Army, led by Khalifa Haftar.
Libya is divided between the two governments in war and Haftar forces control most of the country's east and south.
The humanitarian center consisted of a total of 610 immigrants.
Libya's Interior Ministry has announced it will demand that the international co-operation and the African Union initiate investigations into these crimes committed by Haftar militia”.
