Arian and Gentritus, however, are not the only ones who found death on this highway. Since its release in 2013, this highway has claimed dozens of lives.
Only in the last six years there have 44 citizens from around the country found their deaths.
According to statistics provided by Express since 2013, there have been over 2,000 and 200 accidents on this highway, a few of which have ended with fatality and injured persons.
In addition to fatal and injured accidents, a significant number of accidents have also resulted in material harm. The last number of these goes to over 1,000 and 400.
Based on Kosovo Police statistics, the year with most accidents on this highway is emerging to have been 2018 with 500 accidents, while 2017 continues to remain the most fatal year.

Meanwhile, the main reasons for such accidents are turning out to be short - speed against road conditions and not keeping distance.
