Wessel: PDK to lead with future Government

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini has unveiled his vision of Kosovo in the New Decade, stressing that after the upcoming elections, The PDK will lead with Government and will have a completely different, smaller government and the interest of all citizens without differences. Until [...] leadership

Until the leadership of the new government, he has warned many reforms within the party and within the state, inviting all citizens to support him in the reforms he has launched.

We closed the election process yesterday, while from today we will open a new stage. The Democratic Party is and will be the most powerful party in Kosovo. But wait a minute. Because, let's face it, this reform process, in the PDK and throughout Kosovo, will not be easy, it will take time and I need your continued support to get out. I know someone might have doubts about doing this. Let me tell you, this can't happen in one day”, Vessel said.

He has stressed that the country is awaiting significant decisions and major reforms, because, as he said, there is no other option.

That's what citizens expect from us, because they're fed up with words and eager for action.

Therefore, very soon, you will see great changes and important steps. We're taking the party towards a new stage. Always, when I have serious decisions, difficulties, I remember my days in the Kosovo Liberation Army. Back then, we were few against a large army. Often, almost nobody believed us, not even relatives, that we could get out and that we could win. But we knew we had no option but to act. Only if we were to act, only if we were to make decisions, only if we had the courage needed, would we release Kosovo”, Wessel said.

He said that even today, there is no option but to act.

“We must act right and good for Kosovo. With your commitment and the help of our wonderful citizens, in future elections we will have the power needed and we will lead Government. Then we will be able to implement our full vision, even better, for the New Decade”, the head of the session said. PDK.

He said that in the vision of his new government, Kosovo will have equal chances for all its citizens, and young people will stay and find jobs in Kosovo.

“A Kosovo with a strong and stable economy, which exploits competitive priorities through its natural human resources, opening up new jobs, attracting foreign investors.

An economy that will make it easy for each to open a business, succeed, and fulfill his dreams. An economy not only dependent on government assistance but depends on competition and creative ideas. Because young people are the real engine of the Kosovo economy”, he said.

Wessel said the future government led by him will be the small government, providing citizens with great opportunities.

Less power for Government. More power for citizens. I'm talking about a free market economy based on entrepreneurship, competition and rule of law. But to accomplish this, there is one condition: Fight corruption and strengthen rule of law. Because wherever there is corruption and nepotism, there is no equal chance, no fair competition. And equal chances and fair competition are the foundation of a successful economy and a modern society.

This is our mission to the New Decade. We will do this”, Wessel said at the PDK Festival Convention.
