He has denied the charges and called for short trial.
The process is set to start at 09:30 minutes and, under charge, there are three former police officials in Vlora; Jaeld Cheela, Sokol Bode and George Kohila, who are on the run after the search for the Prosecutor of the Randa Crimes. Despite that, three former police officials are being investigated under arrest in prison in absentia.
At the preliminary session, Saimir Tahiri has demanded that the process take place in short time, which does not mean guilty admission, but that the trial be carried out without being subjected to considerations of bandages during the foundation process, writes Top Channel.
If his request is accepted, the process closes with 3 sessions: one for the Prosecutor who proclaims the claim; one for defence lawyers; and the last for the court declaring the verdict; thus eliminating the judicial debate.
