Under the student movement, we have dealt with organising protests against the presence of Serbian police in Kosovo and the former Yugoslavia. It was the student movement that moved all the people in the demands against Serbia. I'm proud of that time I don't want future generations to experience because it should focus on knowledge.
That period has been interesting and challenging. Although you were conquered, there were different concepts. Logic has been that there is no democracy without freedom. Unable to build a democratic state without gaining freedom. It's been a commitment to consciousness, even though the most difficult, but just way. Serious, responsible devotion that resulted from the establishment of UCKA.
I was engaged in the People's Movement for Kosovo, through Kadri Wessel, where we made concrete commitments. It was a student movement message, because all of Kosovo stood up. There was concern when police intervened and sent only to prisons for seeking freedom from the republic, Thaci adds.
At that time we had no contact with internationals. / P E RISCOP/
