Thaci says that in those first days after the liberation, it was bad luck that some internationals stopped at the Ibër Bridge and in some form made physical division of people.
Former political leader of The KLA has said it has gone to Mitrovica with Kadri Veselin and Rama Nundman, who were respected figures from Mitrovica and Vushtrria to lower the blood.
Our aim was to avoid interethnic conflicts and return people to their properties and give space to the peace process”, he said.
He says that he feels good that with an exciting talk, he has experienced armed conflict between parties and leading to civil war.
The two sides were armed. Definitely was a matter of seconds to detonate conflict. Me and Mr. Wessel, Rama and Demlio were in the middle of a fire. But I thank the citizens who have believed in our commitment”.
Thaci says new circumstances were later created and the blame for partitioning Mitrovica says the international community has.
