Swiss unemployment rate lowered

Thus, at the end of May, 5.5% fewer people have been registered as unemployed compared to the previous month and 7.3% less compared to May 2018.
As a number, at the end of May, in the regional labour mediation centres (RAV) have been registered 101.370 people as unemployed broadcast albinfo.ch. That number is 8000 smaller than that of May 2018.
Even in the youth category, in May 2019 there has been a decline in the number of unemployed. Thus, in late May at the centres mentioned have 10,049 persons aged 15 to 24, broadcast albinfo.ch. This shows a drop of 0.1% year-on-year, or a scale of 1.8%.
In the category of people over 50 at the end of May of this year, there have been a total of 30,000 registered unemployed people - that is, 2.2% of them have been registered as unemployed. They account for 29% of the total number of unemployed.
