Serbia aims to complain to Security Council for action in the north

Serbia will request that at the next Security Council session, to be held on June 10th, the situation in Kosovo will be discussed, especially for Kosovo Police Action in the northern part of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, and also the arrest of two UNMIK officials. So writes the Serbian newspaper '%Novosesti, saying that, among other things, it will be required to discuss Thaci's recent statements that it will not allow the creation of the Serb majority municipalities, and what it will initiate joining Albania.
Meanwhile, Serbia's president, Alexadner Vuciq, hopes there will be a formal Brussels response as well.
Kosovo police on May 28th have carried out a massive action across Kosovo, in the context of combating smuggling. Part of the action was also the northern part of the territory, where most of the suspects were arrested.
More than ten arrested are members of the Kosovo Police, who allegedly allowed and co-operated with smugglers.
