Rexa Gjonbalaj says there is no demand to cut the contract with Z Mobile

Former chairman of the Telekom Board, Rexhe Gjonbalaj, during his report to the Parliamentary Commission for the situation in PTK and Vala, has denied statements that the board has signed the contract with Z Mobile, saying the precontraguration of this agreement was signed by the executive chief of the then Telekom management, Adnan Merov. According to him, [...]
According to him, once he receives the plan as chairman of the Board, he has been informed of the contract he is referring to, as he put it, the deadlines for when to be signed by the Telekom Board.
But before accepting questions from MPs concerning the situation in Telekom, Gjonbalaj said it is in a judicial process, and for that he sought guarantees from MPs that it does not include that process.
The guarantee on the jurist's quality gave MPs Armenmen Zemaj and Albulen Haxhiu, who told him such an interview would only facilitate the state prosecution's work.
Former chairman of the Telekom Board, Rexhe Gjonbalaj, has declared that he and the other members have signed the contract with Dardafon, after being presented as a contract that brings benefits to Vala, and that this contract is a partnership with American partners.
He said his first acquaintances for the contract with Mr Mobile have taken them from former chief chief-in-chief and legal office director Sabadud Ramadjiku, of whom he has declared that the contract with Z. Mobile has also received licenses from the Regulatory Authority, the decision they are obliged to respect.
“has been introduced as a requirement for the board to vote on, as there is a long vacuum that has not been on board and there has been no decision-making in the company, and we are a bit delayed on that issue considering that the other virtual D3 operator with IPKO has already started. It was something new to me, I didn't hear about me or know what the VMNO was. I've heard his explanations that it's of interest not to lose our competition is a legal obligation because the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority has issued a license, is legally interpreted to be committed to decisions of regulatory authority. We consulted with board members and no one knew”, he said.
He has said that without taking an opinion from the Board, former Telekom chief Adnan Merovci has signed a contract with Dardafon for which the board has later requested clarification.
He said the given explanations have prompted all members of the Board to vote in favour, even saying they had no dilemma on that.
“Adnan Merovci signed a contract money with an American partner for virtual operators. That information was public in the media at a press conference without prior knowledge of the board, we knew nothing, and the next day or the day we went to the company and asked us to explain what happened. He said there's a contract money that doesn't have any value until the board makes its approval... The expert interpretation that was from the management has been that in Telekom it has cheap capacities and it's true it has free capacity yet today should be exploited and Telekom has zero investments with this project”, he said.
He has even said that in addition to a request coming from the chief chief, thankful Haja for breaking the contract with Z Mobile, the Board has never accepted any other request to terminate this contract.
Asked by PSD deputy Wisar Ymeri why they have not taken Hodge's request to cut off the contract with Z Mobile, former chairman of the Telekom Board, Raja Gjonbalaj said it was not documented such a request, and that such a thing according to him can only be done by the one who signed the contract.
No meeting required on the board only Mobile should be interrupted because of this, of this, of no meeting... There's no demand except for one case from the chief executive of the contract, there's no--Ymer: There was a proposal he made...Johnbalaj: it's not a proposal”, said the former chairman of the Telekom Board.
On the other side questioned by LDK deputy Andmen Zemaj as to whether there was political pressure from then-political leaders to sign the contract with Dardafon, Gjonbalaj denied saying there was no such thing. But Zemaj reacted by saying he considers degradation in Telekom is done by the company's board.
Zemaj has also asked him about sponsors of the many mobile media and singers. And in his response, Gjonbalaj said these requests have come from the chief executive, not from the Telekom board.
“Did you know from whom the Kosovo Post Telecom antennas are supplied: No, baby: Did you know what they're based on where the antennas are going to be located, if there's any interest in this? Johnbalaj: I've been interested that they've found the frequent points, I know, so much information, Zemaj: did you know that the launch points are with people connected to politics, Gjonbalaj: No, baby: Ministry, deputy ministers, prime minister, family members, Gjonbalaj: No. Heart: Are you interested in how they supply material, contracts, prices, Johnbalaj: No”, expressed during their debate, held between the Zemaj MP and the former board chairman, Gjonbalaj.
On the other hand, MP Milaim Zeka has asked for clarification that under the law the Board has an supervisory role in management or a decision-making role. Gjonbalaj said that as a board, they have only an overseer role.
Zeka went on to want to know if all the incidents that are signed that are signed with Mr Mobile, and for that, Johnbalaj said that the main principles have been signed.
“A has contracts made between Vala and Z Mobile, which are not signed... I don't know, I have to tell you that the main principles as a contract aboard every detail have not been signed the main principles of the contract have been approved” Zeka and Gjonbalaj are expressed.
Questions for the former chairman of the Board of Telekom also had deputy from the Vetevendosje Movement, Libun Aliu, who asked Gjonbalaj if he hired his daughter in the Post while the members of the board. He said it does not stand and that, according to him, his daughter was employed in the Post through a competition after carrying out his mandate as board chairman.
“It's not correct, my daughter was employed in a public competition a 3 years after the company broke up and not knowing that my children and my wife hadn't even needed it, but that I was not allowed to pretend to be employed there, and that's exactly the case of”, Johnbalaj said.
Before the interview of former Kosovo Telekom Board chairman Rexhe Gjonbalaj MPs from the parliamentary commission for the situation in PTK began to discuss the false statement of former Telekom chief Fatmir Haxha, who has accused PDK deputy Blerta Deliu of having asked her family to hire, and tomorrow had apologised for confusing her with another MP. And for that action the commission decided to invite him to re-negotiation interviewing him.
Also, at the request of commission members, the decision was made to be required by the Kosovo Business Register Agency (ARBK) official data about the owners of contracts signed in Telekom with a special emphasis on the Dardanfon contract.
Also, there was a reconciliation that required pay lists for workers from 2009 to 2019, as well as contracts for supply of antennas 2009-2019.
