Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted immediately once President Ilir Meta has confirmed October 13th as the new date of local elections. Seeking mercy for the president, Rama stresses that the only date for local elections is June 30th.
In a reaction at APUwitter, Rama writes: “Did I tell you to wait for the second madness? Now just pity him. The date derived from the cup of the imaginary revolution is an absolute and quadruptum and quid by the violence of the effectum product. June 30th is the only date of choice. ”
President Meta announced a few minutes ago that he has decreed 13 October as the new date for the elections, but the majority has decided not to withdraw from June 30th.
