The first suspicions of the investigation say tragedy has occurred because of negligence. However, the infant's death has been confirmed by police and prosecution, the victim's body has been sent to the facility to clarify the circumstances of death.
Peja Prosecutor's spokesman, Shkodran Nikci, has provided details about the case.
For the case in question, the prosecutor has come out on the scene along with the relevant police units where the necessary actions were initially taken. The child's lifeless body at the order of the State Attorney has been sent for objectivity. Regarding the circumstances in this case, we are awaiting an autopsy report”, Nikci said.
Asked how the infant's death took place, Nikci said the prosecution is awaiting the autopsy report.

The case has been confirmed by Kosovo Police spokesman for the Pec region Driton Rugova.
Police have been informed about 7:20 a.m. that a child is being brought to Peja Hospital who is injured. The police went to the hospital to find out what happened, and from the hospital team we realized that the child had passed away. Instead, the prosecutor has also emerged.
