Two persons arrested, suspected of organ transplantation and trafficking

Kosovo police have announced through a communique that two persons suspected of criminal acts of illegal transplantation and organ trafficking have been arrested. The event took place today in one of Gjakova's hospitals.
“Today in 18,06.2019, the Kosovo Police, namely, the Central Investigations Sector -- Directorship for Investigation of Human Trafficking, in co-operation with the Health Inspectorate and in consultation with the competent Prosecutor in Gjakova -- have carried out a tactical plan at a hospital in Gjakova”, the Police Community says.
This plan has resulted in the arrest of two people with the initial A.M. Kosovo male/Albanian and B.B. Kosovo Albanian woman.
Both were arrested under suspicion of committing crimes: Illegal transplantation and trafficking of organs and human cells, as well as co-ordination, according to the RKS penal code, transmits Periscope.
“From competent authorities has also been seized various documentation concerning the case for further procedures”, said in communique. /Periscopi
