And this has caused dozens of Albanian travelers travelling from Tropoja to Tirana for several hours at the Morina border crossing point.
Regarding this decision, Minister Paul Lekaj has said that this permit has been suspended due to bus abuses, which he stressed that despite having only to pass transit through Kosovo, they have stopped at stations and taken passengers.
“Operators from Albania have owned permission from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, for crossing Kosovo's territory only transit. But this permit has been consistently misused, buses have also stopped at Kosovo stations to take the travellers, so the relevant department at MTI has suspended this permit. The suspension will continue until the meeting of technical commissions from both states for review”, Lekay told Indexline.
