Gjilan's first says they will always be in citizen service, closing the way for corruption and organised crime.
Haziri stresses that it is thus aimed at expanding the coalition with more parties and more citizens.
He tells of all the work that will be done by the end of this month in the municipality he leads.
“over June, Gjilan will reshuffle local administration, reform school administration, with the aim of depoliticisation and re-organising the board of directors. I'm a follower of a more-party coalition with more citizens... At the next session I believe that Gjilan will have new formations, where there will be more young and more women represented at the executive”, he says.
And within the local administration's reshuffle, he says a considerable number of officials are able to lose their jobs.
“A number of officials are likely to lose their jobs. Those who abuse time, abuse duty, and be exposed to corruption, and forms of corruption are forced to flee the workplace. We're creating options. We're in service. These offices should serve”, Haziri says.
It shows that until now, some 50 persons have been suspended for abuse of official office.
The integrity plan we have or the creation of anticorruption immunity and measures preventing violation of the law, abuse of law, misuse, in Gjilan has forced me to send the number of suspendeds to 45 to 45. Of 45, only 2 have so far won the case at the Court and have returned to the workplace and been compensated. While others are accused of organised crime and corruption. We have a deficit in service”, he says.
He also speaks of gender representation in the municipality of Gjilan, which he says has pushed women's integration into leadership positions.
Haziri expresses satisfaction that the list of municipal projects is shrinking daily as a result of the realization of promises and plans.
I'm glad that the project list is greatly reduced. We've put a equality between the village and the city in investment. And maybe I got a little bit of revenge, late in the city investment. More investments are needed in the city, urban areas are needed after greater care, even infrastructure, and energy efficiency requires the use of objects. There are some programs that we can support citizens for a better life”, he says.
He says they have all projects budgeted as he singles out one of them.
We are the only municipality that we are building the social village. Nine objects will be built, schools will be built, nine objects in which there will be schools, professional schools, homes of elders, houses of defenseless women, orphans. We'll build a village just for that community, under the care of the municipality. In the future life, education, training and care for a category will be organised, because we have a category that needs care”, he says.
All in the end, Haziri says they have both the municipality and the 100-euro reward for any accurate news and photos announcing corruption, and 2 thousand euros for every report of corruption in the municipality of Gjilan.
