Kurti has told reporters that these days have participated in the organisation of the Movement, and there has been no invitation to the MP box, to be present at the central ceremony of the 20th anniversary of NATO's intervention in Kosovo.
I don't know I've had an invitation to the MP box, but we've also had a lot of organization like Vetevendosje Movement since it's even compatible with Movement Day. Our parliamentary group has divided MPs into various activities and they have participated”, Kurti said.
The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has also spoken of it.
Through his Facebook account, Mustafa said he did not receive an invitation to the central manifestation for marking the 20th anniversary of liberation, or for any other organised activity within this footnote.
I did not attend because I have not received an invitation to this ceremony and no other activity. I can't tell how the State Protocol acted, whether it had me on the list or not, as LDK chairman, opposition chief, the biggest opposition party today and the reformist party over the past thirty years, or as the prime minister of the past government. At LDK headquarters, I have been informed that invitations have come to several families of LDK martyrs and activists. Not another one. There is no date more important for each of us than that of Kosovo's liberation. So my participation, or one of the LDK vice-presidents, because of my health reasons, would be indisputable. Release as well as independence is nobody's property, are achieved, boasting and wealth of each of us”, Mustafa wrote.
Mustafa has said that even though he had an invitation to attend this ceremony, he is proud that the body was made in Skenderbeu Square, in the town that Mustafa called his own, which he said he built with the LDK with great devotion.
Unlike MPJ State Protocol Director Orhan Hajrizi, he has confirmed that Isa Mustafa and Albin Kurti have had official invitations.
“Yes, the State Protocol has been taken with the whole organization and also with invitations. In this case I confirm that the invitations are prepared and sent to Mr. Isa Mustafa in the quality of the former prime minister, whom the courier has sent to LDK headquarters and invitations to Mr. Kurti has been sent to the Parliament and via the House's internal mail, the invitation has been forwarded to the Vetvendosje Movement post box on June 7th”, Hayriz said.
Kosovo institutions marked the 20th anniversary of NATO's intervention in Kosovo, with the motto “for our freedom”
Along with the people of Kosovo, former President of the United States Bill Clinton, former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former General Wesley Clark, and representatives of institutions from the countries of the region.
