Thanks to NATO bombings and 37,200 KFOR soldiers from 36 states, Kosovars won the war and fierce battle against the Serbian enemy.
Just on June 12th 1999, the first NATO infantry troops were seized in Kosovo, while the departure of Serb forces, which was one of the most exciting moments of our lowly people for centuries, began.
In addition to tears of joy and many greeting of Kosovars who took to the streets as a sign of thanks to KFOR soldiers, there were also those who did not receive hugs.
A photograph fired just that day is what a Kosovar sees, kissing a British soldier on the cheek, even offering him flowers that he seems to have picked up in the fields.
