Among other things, this means that Kosovo will not be able to participate in the 2020 Eurosongu race.
The main reason Kosovo cannot become a full-fledged EBU member is for the fact that our country is not a member of the International Communications Union.
The General Board today in Oslo voted to amend the EBU statute that would enable membership to even those countries which are not members of the International Communications Union.
The offer, however, did not pass.
In 673, “against” and 400 votes “for” The amendment to the statute was unable, and thus Kosovo remained outside Eurosongu for another year.
