KFOR: Action in the north aimed at reducing crime

So said on Monday, Vincenzo Grasso, spokesman for KFOR, in an interview for the Belgrade daily “Danas”.
He has added that this force in the name of others cannot provide information and specified that there was no reason to react to police action, carried out in order to lower the crime rate, which goes in favour of everyone.
“This operation was conducted in different Kosovo municipalities, not only in the north, its result was the arrest of several policemen and civilians of different nationalities, and therefore there has been no interethnic confrontation”, says Grasso.
